Delivery Policy

OrdNow currently operates in Kolkata, covering areas including but not limited to: Salt Lake, New Town, Rajarhat, Behala, Jadavpur, Tollygunge, Ballygunge, Park Street, Esplanade, Shyambazar, Ultadanga, Dum Dum, and Airport areas.

Delivery availability depends on the restaurant's service radius. Restaurants set their own maximum delivery radius, typically 5–10 km.

Delivery fees are calculated based on the distance between the restaurant and your delivery address. Fees range from ₹0 (free delivery for Gold/Platinum members or restaurants with offers) to ₹79 for distances over 8 km.

A surge fee may apply during peak hours (12–2 PM, 7–10 PM) and during adverse weather conditions. Surcharges are always shown transparently at checkout before you place your order.

The estimated delivery time shown is a sum of restaurant preparation time (typically 15–30 minutes) and delivery time based on distance and traffic.

Estimates are indicative and may vary. OrdNow uses real-time traffic data and partner availability to generate estimates.

All delivery partners are background-verified, trained in food safety handling, and required to use insulated delivery bags.

Partners are instructed not to open food containers. If you suspect tampering, please report it via the app and do not consume the food.

If a delivery partner cannot reach you (unreachable phone, locked building, wrong address), they will wait up to 5 minutes and attempt contact twice. After this, the order may be marked as 'Undeliverable'.

In case of failed delivery due to customer unavailability, a partial refund may be processed at OrdNow's discretion (delivery charges are non-refundable).

Select 'Contactless Delivery' at checkout. The delivery partner will place your order at the specified location (e.g., doorstep) without requiring you to come in contact. A photo of the placed order is sent via the app.

Pre-scheduled deliveries are available for select restaurants. You can schedule an order up to 24 hours in advance. Scheduled orders are confirmed with the restaurant 90 minutes before the delivery slot.
