How It All Started
OrdNow was founded in 2024 by a team of Kolkatans who believed their city deserved a food delivery platform that truly understood it — the lanes of Park Circus, the roll shops of Park Street, the mishti doi of Bhawanipur, and the late-night phuchka stalls of Gariahat.
We started with just 12 restaurant partners in the Park Circus and Ballygunge area. Within six months, we had expanded to serve CIT Road, Bhawanipur, Howrah, and beyond. Today, OrdNow partners with over 500 restaurants, employs 8,000+ delivery partners, and delivers to hundreds of neighbourhoods across greater Kolkata.
What makes us different is simple: we are a local company. Our team lives in the same neighbourhoods we serve. We eat at the same restaurants we list. When a partner restaurant has a problem, they can call us directly — not a call centre in another city. When a delivery partner needs support, our team is on the ground.
We are not just a technology company. We are a part of Kolkata's food community — proud to support hundreds of family-run restaurants, cloud kitchens, and home chefs who might otherwise never reach customers beyond their immediate street.

Co-Founder & CEO
Born and raised in Kolkata, Arjun spent 10 years in the food and logistics industry before founding OrdNow with a simple goal: make great food accessible to every neighbourhood in the city.
Priya Mukherjee
Co-Founder & CTO
A computer science graduate from Jadavpur University, Priya leads our technology and product team. She built the real-time tracking and route optimisation systems from the ground up.

Rahul has onboarded over 500 restaurant partners since launch. He is passionate about helping small family-run eateries reach customers beyond their immediate neighbourhood.
